Following his articling in a large Montreal law firm, M^e Lacasse continued his career in a non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to justice. He is called to offer free legal consultations to the public in many different fields such as civil law, housing law, family law and civil litigation.

M^e Lacasse also provided a variety of legal workshops to the public, among which training on self-representation in the Small claims division of the Court of Quebec in collaboration with sitting judges. From 2013 to 2015, M^e Lacasse also appeared on CIBL-FM to provide legal commentary on the news.

M^e Lacasse has oriented his practice since 2018 towards litigation in the fields of construction, real estate, and civil law. He provides counsel to various contractors, developers and individuals regarding and offers representation before the Court of Appeal, the Superior court, the Court of Québec as well as the Tribunal administrative du logement.

He has presented various workshops on construction law during the Rendez-vous des experts presented by the APCHQ Montréal métropolitain and has provided legal training to aspiring contractors during preparatoy courses to obtain their license with the Régie du bâitment du Québec.
